Carole Dennison

Carole has been a practicing attorney for more than 25 years in the areas of Social Security Disability and Workers’ Compensation.

Carole opened her law practice in Greenville, South Carolina in 1992 after practicing with two law firms in Greenville and Anderson, South Carolina, and clerking for the Honorable William M. Catoe, Jr., U.S. Magistrate for the District of South Carolina, where she spent the majority of her time working on Social Security disability appeals.

Carole is a 1972 graduate of Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. She obtained a Masters Degree from Duke University in 1973, and her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1984. Carole is a member of the South Carolina Bar, and served on the Judicial Qualifications Committee for the South Carolina Bar from 2001 until 2003. She is a member of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. She represents clients on appeals to the U.S. District Court and to the U.S. Court of Appeals.

Timothy Clardy, Associate Attorney

Timothy joined the Dennison Law Firm in 2010 dedicating his proven skills in public speaking and legal writing to advocate for the rights of injured and disabled persons.

Timothy holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the University of South Carolina, where he graduated with honors from the South Carolina Honors College, summa cum laude, and was awarded the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award.  Timothy obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.  While there, he wrote for the South Carolina Law Review, authoring an article entitled, “Nonresident Defendants Don’t Deserve Convenience or Justice in South Carolina?,”  South Carolina Law Review, Spring 2004, which was cited by the South Carolina Supreme Court in Whaley v. CSX Transp. Inc , 362 S.C. 456, 485, 609 S.E.2d 286, 301 (2005).  He won the 2004 Victor A. Michalewitz Award for Excellence in Legal Writing for this article.  Timothy graduated magna cum laude and was awarded the Compleat Lawyer Award.

Shortly thereafter, Timothy served as a law clerk to the Honorable G. Ross Anderson, Jr., District Court Judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.  He then entered private practice in 2006 as a sole practitioner.  Timothy is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He represents clients on appeals to the U.S. District Court and to the U.S. Court of Appeals.
