Carole M. Dennison
Ms. Dennison has been a practicing attorney
for over 20 years in the areas of social security
disability and workers' compensation. She has
been a sole practitioner in Greenville, South
Carolina since 1992.
She graduated from Grove City College in 1972
and from the University of South Carolina School
of Law in 1984. She obtained a masters degree
from Duke University in 1973.
Immediately following law school, she practiced with a claimant's law firm in Anderson, South Carolina. In 1989, she began clerking for the Honorable William M. Catoe, Jr., U.S. Magistrate for the District of South Carolina. During the time period in which she clerked for Judge Catoe, she spent the majority of her time working on social security disability appeals.
She is a member of the South Carolina Bar, and she served on the Judicial Qualifications Committee for the South Carolina Bar from 2001-2003. She is also a member of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit. She represents clients on appeals to the U.S. District Court and to the U.S. Court of Appeals.
She is a member the Greenville and Anderson County Bar Associations, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Educational Association and the Greenville Chamber of Commerce.
